Running two intentional thought models and then making a decision

I thought I heard in one of the coaching calls or videos that you can make a decision by doing two intentional models where the outcome is positive in both cases and then work your way up to the thought for each one. However, I’m not sure about making the decision from there (i.e., which intentional model to choose). Did I hear that wrong? Or is that an effective strategy? If it is, how would you choose? Possibly by asking “Which one resonates more with you?” Are there any other questions to ask that would lead someone to make a decision they’d like to make?
