Daily goal setting for mid and long term goals

I believe in writing goals down daily. For my chosen biggest/most important mid-term goal, I review twice per day. Review in evening and plan in the morning. Some may see this as overkill, but I work better with controls due to distraction issues. Is this a way to incorporate The Model and be consistent with the intent of The Model?

Evening Day 1
Unintentional Model on what happened today relative to the goal.
New Intentional Model to adjust thoughts, if needed, from today (Not about the goal, but about my thoughts about hitting or missing the goal.)

Morning Day 2
Intentional Model for today’s goals
Updated Intentional model to adjust thoughts, if needed, for today
