Maintaining Weight Loss Success

Hi Brooke, this is more of a comment than a question – just want you to know that my wife and I are thoroughly benefiting from the SCS Program. SO much information and guidance – thank you for your generosity in sharing way over what we anticipated. 🙂 I also want you to know that we’re taking the work very seriously – both the main monthly sessions and info in the assets. On a personal note, through a combination of medicine and implementing the Stop Overeating principles, though I believe the latter to be 90 % responsible, in about three months I’ve lost 12 lbs, reduced my A1c from 8.7 to 5.8, reduced overall cholesterol from 245 to 126, LDL down from 156 to 56, triglycerides down from 259 to 125, and most important – broke the sugar and flour addiction.

My concern is that when I’ve seen success in any of this in the past, I started to get overconfident and sloppy and in short order lost the gains. I know the key here is going to be to continue to do the emotional work so I will keep at it and I believe that is what will make the difference this time. Anyway, thanks for letting me share a small victory. 😉
