“I often don’t feel like it. But I do it anyway. It’s non-negotiable.”

I’m having trouble making myself do something even when I don’t feel like it. It’s hard for me to use willpower to stick to my schedule and commit to it. Especially if it’s for me. When I’m held accountable by others, e.g., work, family, kids/school obligations, I can do this. But for me, I always think, I can do this later. Or it’s not urgent, I can skip this. How do I change this habit? I think I know what you’re going to say, change my thinking around this. Ugh. How do I get from “I don’t feel like doing this now. I’ll do it later” to “I don’t feel like doing this now. But I’ll do it anyways. It’s non-negotiable.” Is it just practice? Is it that easy? If I can do this, my mind will be blown again! Thanks so much Brooke!
