One step back, two steps forward // meditation

Just wanted to share that lately it has become very apparent to me how this work is anything but linear. I make progress, then have challenges, then pick myself up again, try better and harder, and this only makes me stronger in the long run.

It’s something I’ve *read* hundreds of times before but it’s the first time in my life I truly understand what it looks like, and how it’s the only way to play the game.

I see a parallel with the meditation practice as well, where it’s not about beating yourself up for getting distracted, but rather about getting better at noticing you have, and focusing your attention again. So powerful.
