I’m working on the obstacles to expressing my purpose and I found that my perfectionist mentality often haunts progress because I sometimes go to the “all or nothing place.” This can be if I eat off plan, I will say “screw it” for the rest of the day. Or I just judge myself heavily. I’m also an actor, and directors have reflected back to me that sometimes in rehearsals they see me trying to give a perfect performance (which is not the point of rehearsal) and that causes me to miss out on spontaneous moments and discoveries.

So my question is strategy. I wrote, self-coaching and doing the model before and after these instances so I can learn what I’m thinking and work to shift those thoughts. What are other strategies you’ve found for this behavior?
