Having a “safe” place to feel what I need to.

Hi Brooke,

I’m buffering with food when I’m alone with my young child. Doing this month’s work, I realize there are some things that are negative but need to allow, but I don’t feel I have the opportunity to when my daughter needs me. I start to journal, I get interrupted. I just find a quiet place to think it out a bit, I get interrupted. I find myself grabbing food as I attend to her.

I’m a single mom, there’s no one else in the house to hand her off to. Any ideas for creating a space and environment for me to do this work?
