What’s the worst that could happen?

On the podcast ive heard brooke say “whats the worst that could happen?” Regarding going all in on your dream of building a thriving coaching practice. And the answer is “You would just be right where you are now!”

Well, I work a demanding fulltime job as a high school administrator and have a four-year old preschooler. I am the breadwinner of my family in the extremely expensive Bay Area. I don’t just make more than my husband but I provide 3/4 of our income and we are not yet financially healthy (lots of debt, no savings— you get the picture).

I work Monday- Friday 7am-5 pm and then Ive hired a sitter from 5-7 Tues- Thursday to give me time to work on building my business. Weekends I work on my business for a few hours on sundays. I get up at 4:30am every day and work on my business until 6ish.

Heres where im stuck: even though Im only away from my little one for a few hours more a day than before, i was already away from him for 10 hours. I know he wants to be with me more and I him. These few hours feel like a choice that im making that is having a negative impact on my child.
