I have a program titled, Stop Overeating Masterclass.
All those cutting edge tools are based on hormones, mind management, and brain science.
I use those tools to help my clients lose hundreds of pounds.
Turns out those exact tools work on drinking.
While I was teaching that program, I applied the tools to my drinking.
Here’s what I did:
- I learned the skill of managing my urges without resisting them and causing anxiety.
- I planned all my drinking 24 hours ahead of time.
- I did thought work on all thoughts that had been conditioned unconsciously.
- I stopped beating myself up for drinking.
For about six months I drank about three times a week on purpose. I drank up to four glasses of wine pre-planned.
I managed myself on the alternate days by learning how to allow urges.
It was so awesome.
I had never been able to cut back before, and now I was completely in control.
I wished someone had told me this was the way to do it.
But they didn’t.
