I just had an aha that I would like some clarification on about the 25 actions per quarter towards our impossible goal.
This summer my 26 year old daughter said she wanted to go sky diving with me for her birthday and I said “Sure!” I never waivered and just thought it would be a super cool thing to experience….and it was. When people hear about it they automatically talk about their fears. I can honestly say I had none. I just thought it would be cool to do.
I’ve been working on putting together a live webinar and learning Facebook ads. I just had similar thoughts about the webinars as I did jumping out of a plane – “that will be cool to try!” Then I looked at the things I had written for Q1 and I had the same thoughts.
It doesn’t matter what the results are because I get to decide what I want to make them mean. By having an impossible goal I get to try things I wouldn’t ordinarily have had the opportunity to, like jumping out of a plane at 52 years old!
Am I on the right track with this? Should I have “deeper” expectations of my results in order to move towards my goal?
