Hi! I own a business with 6 employees. I find that I have such a hard time telling them ‘hard’ things. Like, holding them accountable when they haven’t done their job on something, or giving them any type of criticism or negative feedback, even when I frame it positively. I hate hurting peoples feelings. And I know that they create their feelings with their thoughts, but I find myself really struggling with this. I realized I’m trying so hard to always have my staff like me that I’ve stopped liking myself (or that aspect of myself). Then I feel taken advantage of and a softie and like I’m not fit to be a business owner. Do you have any ideas for me??? Thank you.
