"big important jobs"


I have been given a lot of beliefs around “big, important” jobs – like a marketing director or a doctor or a barrister.
These jobs are ‘big and important’ therefore the people doing them are more adulty and more important than I am as I’ve never had one of these big, important jobs.
This results in me feeling inferior to them, more child-like, less significant. Even though I have evidence to the contrary. I therefore don’t feel “good enough” to have these people as clients. I therefore don’t envisage me working with such clientele, I down play my skills when around them and I don’t make offers to help them. Ultimately I hold myself back in my business and I don’t grow.
I’d really just like to see people as people. Any help?
