Building an Email List and Proper Eitiquette

My new coaching business (I am finishing up the certification program) is about helping women over 40 reclaim their personal power. I want to email all of the women I know and can find, to share my website link so they can learn more about my business and the membership program I started called MKCommunity. I want to begin the email saying:
I am sending this email to gain the support of fellow women to get my business launched. I am asking you to please take a look at my website and learn about my online membership program called MKCommunity. Please consider me as a resource for yourself, and keep MKCoach in mind as a resource for the women you come across in your personal and business interactions. Thank you in advance for your support. In return, I am here to support you in any way I can. It is time for women to come together and claim our collective personal power to make this world a better place!

My thought is:
I should be able to email anybody I want to gain their support.

My question is:
1) Is it ok to email anybody and everybody without them actually subscribing to an email list? Is this permitted and acceptable? Or is it taboo? I do not want to break any unspoken rules that will turn people off to me or my business
Thank you in advance
