Business Result Versus Action


I cannot recall if it was a business coaching call or a diamond call, but on a call with Brooke- she mentioned focusing on the RESULT of the task versus the action when scheduling our calendars. My question though is I’m not sure how to do this when part of my result is dependent upon my clients. Ex: I want to schedule 3 new clients in two hours. I can schedule my number of offers to clients but I can’t really say for certain if I’ll get the result of 3 new clients unless/until they sign up.

I guess I’m not sure how exactly to tackle this. Or am I thinking too much into it? It just seemed Brooke was very adamant to focus on RESULT or outcome of task for success over the actual actions.
