They are so afraid of failing on the job that they aren’t offering the value they could. They go to work stressed every day and clam up in meetings because they are afraid that what they have to offer will be wrong. They watch colleagues who are no better than they are in talent or education progress in their careers, while they focus on not making mistakes.
This is women working in larger firms who are in their 20s and 30s.
Is this specific enough? Also, I am 50–would younger women want/accept/value coaching from someone my age? I chose the age of 20s/30s because if they are still in consulting by their 40s, they have probably figured out how to contribute.
I appreciate your help!
