Credentials Haunting Me

I have a nutrition business and certain certifications, but I am not a Registered Dietician. I have toyed around with the idea of going back to school to become an RD for a while – but it would take me 4 years of full-time schooling, which I don’t believe I need to actually help people and have a successful business.

That being said, being an RD is the gold standard in the nutrition world and having other certifications is seen, at least by many other nutrition professionals, as subpar. I also don’t think that my family and friends really look to me for nutrition advice because I’m not a licensed dietician.

I know that solving this issue is all about my thoughts and beliefs in my current ability, but I just can’t seem to get past the thought “I won’t be taken seriously unless I’m an RD,” which of course shows up in my result line. Can you help me so that I can stop indulging in confusion and entertaining the idea of going back to school?
