Define Success

On the recent business call with Corinne, she took one of the women through a ‘future self’ exercise and asked ‘The version of you on Dec 31st who has reached her goal, what would she be feeling?’

When I applied that exercise to myself, I realized that for me it would be ‘relief’. Am I holding onto the idea of reaching my goal so tightly that reaching it only means ‘relief’? I can’t quite see the thought that’s driving that – perhaps it’s something along the lines of: I made it (and I should have).

How do I hold my goal, go after it and not attach so much meaning to reaching it?
