I achieved my impossible goal last May and self-published my first book on Amazon. Two weeks after I published, my dad died, and most of my free time since then has been focused on dealing with his estate. I’m now ready to turn my attention back to my book. From this month’s homework, I realized I would love to get it into the hands of a much larger audience. I’m really proud of it, and I think it can help a lot of people. The trouble is I really have no idea where to start. I tried a couple of paid ads on Amazon, but they didn’t really pan out, and I have no idea what I’m doing so I don’t want to keep throwing money at it. I would be totally willing to hire someone who knows how to properly market a book online, but I also don’t know where to start with finding someone who would do that. I’m wondering if you have any guidance on where and how to start marketing my book in an effective way.
