Goal Setting / how specific should we be


I am listening now to a lecture on Goal Setting. Let’s say I have a goal of earning 100K/ year from zero now in 12 months time from my coaching practice. The question then is how specific should be the goal? Shall I already ‘define’ how exactly I want this goal to be achieved (i.e. Selling product X to this Niche Y) or should it be less concrete and then the magic of goal setting somehow will work out in the ‘right’ direction – i.e. “earning 100K from coaching no matter how and which client”
