I just listened to Jennifer’s April “Monday Hour One” call and I love the goal she set for herself (and surpassed!) – ten clients in six weeks.
Jennifer talked about how important establishing constraints was to achieving this goal. She helped me to understand that this is something I need to work on, too. Without constraints, I do a whole lot of buffering including activities that are good for me, like studying a foreign language and going to the gym… but displace my goal-achieving tasks.
Can you please provide further insight about what constraints might look like outside of daily “focus time”? Jennifer stated that she focused on two things during these six weeks: Hitting her big business goal, and her family.
What’s the best way to look at your goal and define what constraints to establish so that you can maximize your chances of hitting your target?
