The more I study Brooke’s work, the more I find myself using her tools with my clients! I am not certified through the Life Coach School (will be at some point, but am waiting for in person enrollment to open again!). My question is, how do I properly give credit without feeling like every other word out of my mouth is “my mentor Brooke…” Maybe there’s nothing wrong with this (maybe that’s the preferred way to do it?) but to me it just feels like, why would someone work with me in using the Life Coach School tools when they could just come to the Life Coach School instead? I KNOW that Brooke reads tons and integrates tools from other people into her work, and she always does a great job of referencing back to where she got it from, but somehow I’m finding it difficult to find this balance without feeling like an imposter who only copies other people’s work.
