How to market when I am a generalist coach.

Hi there. I have been a generalist coach for close to 20 years. I do great work but the business/money end has never been where I want it to be. When I look at your niche worksheet, I can’t determine my area between relationships and health. I have worked with:
executives around the people part of their work, their workload, and mindset/leadership;
professionals overwhelmed by their workload or by a personal issue that is holding them back – hoarding, weight, staying focused, etc.;
artists who want to create something and need accountability and ways to get unstuck;
others who just need a sounding board and thinking partner as they make decisions or build momentum.

I can coach anyone on anything, as most of us coaches can say with confidence. Because of this I get stuck on how to put myself out there and market and don’t know where or how to start.

If I were to find the common thread in my clients, it’s overwhelm, it’s feeling stuck, it’s self-doubt and indecision, it’s not believing in themselves. I help unravel all of it so they can move toward what they truly want. Is marketing on the theme of overwhelm or stuck too broad and non-specific?

Another angle on this: I have lost 100-plus pounds and could help others do the same…not with a nutrition/diet plan focus, but with a mindset and stay with it focus, but I don’t want to let go of the variety of clients I have now, and I don’t know if I would love just focusing here. Curious your thoughts?

I’m guessing you agree that I need to narrow with a niche. If so, do you see a niche within the list of clients I tend to work with?

Thanks for any guidance on how to proceed.
