What is the use of an investor versus a bank? This past year I’ve bought out my partner. We started a coffee shop together with him being the money guy and me learning the coffee business end of it. He is carrying the note for 5 years for me with the option with an early pay off. I’m on track to have him paid off 3.5 years yearly. In the mean time I’ve had two different people contact me asking if they could invest in my business one stating he would like to get 10 more up and running within the next year. I feel like a fish out of water. I dont understand what or why ppl use investors versus a bank. The only reason I can see is that it cuts off years for me. As in having more shops sooner than if i were to cash flow them myself. Thanks
