Marketing vs Coaching – Dopamine Hit

Hi Brooke,

I get a dopamine hit and I’m super motivated and excited when trying out marketing strategies. I get a dopamine hit when it works.

I find myself really excited about business and marketing in my life coaching business.

Then when it comes to coaching people, sometimes I don’t know if what I’m doing is helping people because there’s not as obvious a result. They don’t necessarily tell you if it’s helping.

How can I navigate this? Should I look for the evidence that shows my coaching is effective or should I work on reducing my desire when it comes to marketing?

How do I know if it’s healthy or if long term the marketing hit will be more harmful?

Thank you!
