Models in the workplace

Is it appropriate to introduce your team members to the model if you think it will help reduce their mind drama and how it’s affecting performance?

I have my own business with a team of 13 and I watch team members spiral emotionally because they think someone else is causing some kind of discomfort. I really want to help them see that it’s their thoughts/perspective. I feel like if I required them to do their own models before approaching me with issues about how someone else/something outside of their control is making them feel a negative way. I want to encourage honest conversations and feelings in the workplace (that’s part of our culture) but I feel like boundaries will keep it productive (in this case, having them do models before approaching me with their feelings is the boundary).

I’m just not sure if I’m allowed to encourage my team to use the model if I’m not a coach?
