Hi coaches–when choosing a niche, how imperative is it to have personal experience in that area? Do you find that the most successful coaches have personally experienced the “problem” their coaching niche solves for? Alternatively, are coaches less successful if they haven’t personally dealt with whatever area they’re coaching in? I’m confident my coach certification training at LCS will prepare me to coach on any issue, but do coaches have more success coaching in an area they’ve overcome obstacles in themselves? Thanks!
