Hello! I own a yoga studio in Lexington, KY. We’ll be celebrating our 15 year anniversary in October. Brooke suggests making your target market as specific as possible. Does does apply to a brick and mortar business in a city of 300,000? Over the last five years we’ve had a ton of yoga studios open. What most excites me about yoga is that at its most practical level, it’s a practice and process of self-discovery, self-love, and self awareness. I keep having this thought of differentiating our yoga studio in this way. But I question if that’s too narrow. I’d love to hear your thoughts and questions. Thank you so much!
