I send a lot of cold emails to potential nonprofits as a source of gaining new clients for my business. Sometimes I’ll offer a service or class and they show a bit of interest (ask for more information, etc.), but end up declining outright or simply not respond again to my offer.
My brain usually goes here:
– I didn’t articulate the value of what I was offering – I need to respond and re-explain what an incredible service this is and why it is worth the money
– My price is too high for them – think about negotiating on my fees
and then… to here: Maybe this isn’t my “person” – should I just move on and continue making offers to other people or try again to convert them?
Can you help clarify? thanks!!
