protocol/food journal

What do you find is the best process for having clients send you their food protocol/food journal and daily weight? I currently have them send me their protocol for the following day along with that days weight and food journal. This doesn’t seem to be the best way because most of them are not consistent in sending it and then it can get really confusing in keeping track. I want them to be responsible for sending it to me so if I don’t get it from them then I just don’t fill it in for that day. Is there a better solution?
