Question about my 25 fails for the first quarter


Brooke-
I’m working on an Impossible goal of $500K in 2018 revenue in my coaching business. That really is impossible since I haven’t even ever brought in $100K for anything I’ve ever done! But, $100K sounds ‘do-able’ to me…so I upped the stakes for my impossible goal.

So, I am trying to be as precise as possible with coming up with failures for the first quarter, and here’s what I have. Some of them feel like something on a “to-do” list….

Sell 20 spots in my January Vision Board Workshop
Sell 20 spots for an online February Vision Board Workshop
Sell 20 spots for an online goal setting program
Get 100 people to attend a webinar in January that leads to a mini session for my 12 week Coaching program
Get 100 people to attend a webinar in February that leads to a mini session for my 12 week Coaching program
Get 100 people to attend a webinar in March that leads to a mini session for my 12 week Coaching program
Sell 21 spots in the first quarter for my 1-1 coaching program
Add 100 people to my private FB Group
Start a private FB group
Be consistent in my private FB group by being in there 5 days per week engaging with members
Add 1000 people to my list with FB ads
Sell 500 books through FB ads
Sell 250 books through Amazon ads
Do one in-person local evening talk and invite 10 people to attend
Do the library author talk and book signing and sign 2 people up for a mini session
Sell a corporate training to Goodwill for $1000
Attend one Chamber Networking event and make 2 new contacts
Sell a Vision Board workshop to the Zonta club for $500
Produce 12 2-5 minute videos that support my 12 week coaching program
Reach out to 30 owners of Suicide Loss Facebook groups and offer to help or give content
Reach out to 10 suicide loss survivors through FB, email or phone
Reach out to 3 local therapists and get a meeting setup to get to know their services

Is this what you want to see when talking about failures? Some of these sound really impossible….I don’t think it’s possible to sell 500 books in 3 months using Amazon ads. If it sounds totally crazy and undoable…do you make it at least doable?

Also…I have things like hire a FB ads person, put together a book funnel, make a detailed follow up process for my warm leads/referrals marketing, setup an email funnel and setup a nurture sequence. I’m wondering if these things are just “to-do’s” that support the other things I’ve listed?

I had a really hard time coming up with this list….so am not sure now how to come up with 25 more for each of the next 3 quarters! Maybe I’d repeat some of these (or all?) for the next quarters?
