ROI – ce

Hi Brooke,

I have a marketing consulting business that in some ways is similar to having a coaching business. As a private coach client or a SCS, how would you answer if a potential student/client asked how you measure ROI?

The way I look at having a private or group coach, is you give me all the tools and resources but it’s up to me to implement them. So, where’s the measure for ROI there?

My biz is similar – I create tools and a comprehensive marketing guide for companies to implement on their own. When asked about ROI – my mind says it’s up to them to “DO” the marketing so the “result” I deliver is the marketing plan itself. Not traditional media impressions, web clicks, etc.

Does that sound correct? Is there a better way I could frame it to a potential client?
