I recently started my coaching business. I purchased a domain name and started a Facebook group a few months ago. This morning I was asked not to use the same for my group because she’s been using it for a couple years for her fb group and last year started her podcast. She said she is in the process of trademarking it. But I did a search on USPTO and nothing has been filed. I never knew she was using this. I told her we will work it out. I needed time to think since, I am an over thinker and when the name came to me I ran with it. I feel if I change it, I’m going to be stuck again and not moved forward. My question is, do I just give in? Part of me wants to because I don’t want bad blood. But then the other part of me says well it’s business and do what you feel called to do.
