Several coaches in the Life Coach School use the term “Master certified coach” and I know this comes from the LCS certification program. For other industries besides coaching, there may be a program or degree that offers a “master” title, but I haven’t found one in my field, which is in the wedding industry.
Can I just say that I am a “master wedding planner” because I’ve done it with excellent results for 16 years?
There isn’t any sort of degree or program that offers this title as a result – so can I just use it because I like the authority it lends to my title?
Being in integrity with my clients and audience is essential to me. I feel good when I use the phrase “Business owner and master wedding planner” in my bio and believe it is accurate, but don’t wish to mislead anyone if it isn’t actually appropriate.
