Weekly goal question

I have a revenue goal for the month to create $7,100. That number is a bit of stretch but I can get to believability ahead of time. I tried breaking it up into a weekly goal of $1,775 but that number for sure brings up a ton of resistance and impossibility.

Is it better to face the resistance and spend the time to work through all of those thoughts, or should I use a weekly goal that ties into some kind of action that will lead to the eventual outcome (XX number of hours networking, for an example)?

I know overall it’s best to face resistance and work through it but I’m doing a lot of that already and I’m guessing you have to pick your battles at some point. I’m sure there’s no right or wrong answer, just looking for some guidance.
