When to make an offer-follow-up

I did a download and models on my thoughts I’m having around the free nutrition consults and making offers for a fitness challenge I’m apart of.

I definitely have some thoughts I need to clean up and can see what’s been holding me back. Here they are:)

They’re coming to me expecting too much:
I have this thought because I give them a questionnaire that says what’s 1 area of your nutrition you want to work on and people usually give me 3.

My next thought is: Don’t they know I can’t fix that in 30 minutes, changes with diet/weight loss takes time

Or if I’m not thinking these thoughts above, interesting enough my other thought is:
If I give too much information they won’t think they need to pay me for my program.
So apparently I also believe I can help them in 30 minutes and they don’t need my program…

Model #1
C: Free nutr consult
T: They’re coming to me expecting too much
F: resentment
A: I think I might hold back or try to fix it all
R: no sale

Model #2
C: Free nutr consult
T: If I give too much information they won’t think they need my program
F: scarce
A: Hold back
R no sale

I want to feel generous and that I genuinely want to give as much value in the time we have, I do understand that intellectually. But clearly have other thoughts.

Intentional Model #1
C: Free nutr consult
T: They’re excited to learn as much as they can from me and I’ll give them as much value as I can
F: generous
A: over deliver
R: create value

Intentional Model #2
C: Free nutr consult
T: I want to give them results ahead of time
F: abundant/generous
A: over deliver
R: create value???

I think this one is tripping me up the most. For example the last consult I had she was under eating during the day and overeating/snacking at night and c/o wt gain. I told her how to change her meals during the day and manage evening snacking, which if she does what I say will likely lose weight without changing anything else. So my thought is “maybe she doesn’t need me now, she hasn’t responded to my offer.”

But that’s really with anything, the solution is likely pretty simple but applying it and sticking to it is hard. I think I struggle articulating the benefit of my program which is to help with implementing the changes and staying consistent.

I think I’m wondering if there is a balance of how much to share or not? Or if it’s more useful to go in with just wanting to help the best way I can even if that means they don’t need me?

Thanks for the insight!!
