Hi, I’m wondering if this would be an appropriate boundary for my mother-in-law.

We don’t give our children sweets at home but she always does every time we come for a visit.

Could I say: ‘We don’t do sweets in our family. If you’re going to continue giving them sweets when we come for a visit, we will not be visiting anymore.’
