I am working on creating more positive emotion because I experience my life as being more like 90-10 or 80-20 rather than 50-50. The main way I generate feelings of contentment or happiness is to imagine accomplishing goals (eg I look amazing, I’m successful, marriage is great, I have lots of money a new house) …is this essentially changing the C to feel better? It’s challenging for me to find thoughts that create content/happy in my current Cs. I’m working on believing the thought “I’m learning to be deeply content and happy” but my brain clearly wants me to be dissatisfied and constantly striving. Value any thoughts!
