I can’t help it (Nadège)

Hi Brooke!
I’ve found a new thought: “I can’t help it” as “I can’t help eating the cashew nuts”. I know it doesn’t serve me at all.
C – cashew nuts
T – I can’t help eating them
E – powerless
A – I eat the cashew nuts
R – I feel the nuts (a circumstance) are more powerful than I am
I know it’s completely wrong and yet I still believe I can’t help it! I’d like to feel detached, with “it’s just food and it’s just a thought” but I don’t believe it yet. Woud you have any other thoughts for me to try on?
Thanks a lot!
Nadège (at Mount Rushmore – it’s gorgeous here!)
