My dad has cancer

Dear Brooke,
I just found out my father has cancer, and all of a sudden my self-coaching skills aren’t so readily available to me.
I’m scared of seeing him experience pain and painful treatments, I’m scared of watching him die, and I’m scared of seeing my mother sad and grieving and eventually alone.
I struggle to see how this may be “happening for me.”
I imagine my number one concern should be to allow my emotions, but I’m also trying to stay positive and keep my vibration high, and focus my attention on the good things I have in my life.
Do you have any insights or guidance to offer for a situation like this?
Thank you!
