Realization of Benefit of Repeat Day 1


It doesn’t seem like I have been doing this a year already and it is my first repeat month. I watched the first video for August yesterday and figured out why I was missing the point of how to actually live my purpose. What I realized by the end of this video is that you figure out your purpose and then you do whatever you want that defines and redefines yourself to fulfill your purpose.

For example – last year I could not think of anything except to “Be an example of what is possible.” I thought that meant okay – lose all your weight and be a weight loss life coach and then when the weight did not come off a few months later – I thought – how can I be an example of what is possible if I am not thin? Which obviously now I know totally misses the point.

Nonetheless, I have discovered this time around that my purpose is simply to “be the best version of myself that I can be.” Then I choose how I want to fulfill that. I can fulfill it by continuing my stop overeating journey and/or starting my own business and/or etc…..
Consequently, throughout the past year anyway I accomplished so much and people noticed the change in me and asked questions so I was able to talk to them and relate to them things that I have learned through SCS.

I really just want to make sure I am getting the right idea here. When I think I can’t believe how long it took me to get there – I remind myself that it took me just as much time as it was supposed to and I am exactly where I am supposed to be on my awesome journey! You and your fabulous coaches are totally awesome, Brooke! I am so happy to be a Diamond and look forward to my journey of becoming a double Diamond a year from now!
