I noticed that a work friend posted that he had a party on social media. It showed a few, not a lot of people there, and when I saw the post I immediately felt left out and unincluded. I also started feeling paranoid- maybe I was intentionally not included to a party and maybe they all hate me. Yikes! Even to realize I’m having these thoughts is upsetting after al the work I’ve done in scholars. How can I allow my feelings- I know I’m having obstacle thoughts- but how can I work with this to build more self sustaining self confidence?
