Hi there! As my urge jar gets filled I’ve been Learning some of the patterns for urges that I usually give in and I am finding it challenging to dial in the result in this model
C: ice cream not on the plan for Thursday
T: I can’t have ice cream because it’s Thursday
F: deprived
A: push the feeling away, resist, use willpower, tell myself that I can have it on Friday
R: I don’t have the ice cream (?)
But then I felt like I created another layer of feelings when I felt deprived which is not helping me see the results of the model above. Here is the second model:
C: deprivation
T: i hate feeling this
F: frustrated
A: storm eat, eat other things while thinking about the ice cream
R: I create more of what I hate
