Your anxiety

Dear Brooke,

You have talked before about your anxiety and how you just allow it and go about your day.

It seems to me like anxiety often shows up as a physical sensation without us necessarily being aware of a T causing it — more like a diffuse generalized emotion we can’t tie to anything specific.

But since it’s an E it’s necessarily caused by a T, right?

In your case, do you have access to the thoughts causing your anxiety, and is it just about allowing those thoughts to float around and create anxiety without attaching some dramatic story to it?

Thanks in advance for your insights!

Clotilde.
