Age. Is it an excuse to increase weight or an opportunity to be in the best shape yet?

What are your thoughts on maintaining a healthy weight during and after your 40s? I am 42 and always been very fit. It became much harder for me to lose weight/sucombe to injury after hitting 40. (I’m 42 now) and interested to hear Brookes thoughts on mindset versus physiology in 40s and above.
