Can I do a 16-8 restricted window every day?

Hi Brooke,
I’ve been experimenting with time-restricted eating for a while. I’ve always been a breakfast eater, but after reading a few articles that suggested alternating 12-12 with 16-8, I now eat a morning meal only three days per week. I feel great.
I’ve noticed that on the 16-8 days, when I have my first meal around noon and then dinner around 7, I feel completely fine. No hunger, no lightheaded feeling, no irrationality. In fact I even feel pretty energized most of the time.
A few things I’ve read have said “DON’T do 16-8 every day!!!”, but I am honestly not sure why. Too few calories maybe?
Well, my question is, is there any reason not to have an 8 hour restricted window for eating and eat only two meals (occassionally a small afternoon snack) every day for the rest of my life? Or should I cycle? And if so, what kind of cycling? Daily? Weekly?
