carbs, no flour


Hello! I really love Brooke’s concept of weight loss but I have a question: It seems to me that Brooke’s food plan is very low carb as she only eats protein, fat and vegetables/salad. Dr. Jason Fung, who was mentioned by Brooke, recommends to follow a (very) low carb diet (and intermittent fasting). But as far as I know Dr. Fung doesn’t suggest to follow a no flour diet. So, is it ok to eat grains on the weight loss program? Or does eating carbs like grains or fruit keep you from becoming fat adapted? Should I be focused on “no flour” and still eat allowed grains or is it better to eat “low carb” but including low carb flour like almond or coconut flour? Thanks in advance!
