Cream vs. milk in coffee


Hi Brooke! I eat 2 meals a day (midday and 5pm) but also have a coffee in the morning at around 9am. Currently I’m having full-fat milk rather than cream in my coffee due to thoughts I have regarding cholesterol and the medical advice to have low-fat dairy if you have high cholesterol (I’m currently on statins). I’ve lost 25 pounds so far this year with another 30 until my goal weight and haven’t had my cholesterol levels retested in over a year. Prior to going on statins I was having cream in my coffee and loved it but am worried that it may have contributed to my cholesterol levels. Is the milk breaking my fast, should I still switch to cream or should I just push my coffee back to midday and have it with milk with my lunch? Thanks for your thoughts!
