Program for Everyone?

Brooke,

Thank you for this exciting June curriculum!

Is this program for people with a lot of excess weight to lose? My best guess is that I have between 10-15 pounds of excess fat on my body particularly in what I’ve learned are called “saddle bags,” hips, and the lower portion of my abdominal area. To be clear, I love and appreciate my body and have total acceptance of it and myself if this weight remains. I do, however, believe that it could be utilized as fuel.

My protocol is very clean and I eat in a 3-4 hour window. My protocol generally includes: avocado, green beans, carrots, onions, celery, spinach, arugula, lettuce, radishes, corn, jalepenos, other hot peppers, (few fruits each week) blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, apple, banana, pumpkin, rice, few potatoes, fish, bacon, beef, pork, hemp seeds, flax seed, chia seeds, almonds, pecans, walnuts, coconut cream, real maple syrup, very little honey, avocado oil, olive oil, goat cheese, parmesan cheese, buffalo cheese, and very little coconut sugar sweetened dark chocolate.

1) I thought I noticed that cashews and macadamia nuts held my weight in place so I took them off of my protocol, though I’d be interested to know if you think that was a random coincidence rather than an actual protocol problem.

2) I have known over-desire in all forms. I do not struggle with mind management in regard to how I care for and nurture my body. I am wondering if the June Lose 8 program is for everyone, or if there is a different (perhaps more aggressive, or more intricate) program you’d recommend for someone who already embraces management of emotions as they are connected with what goes into the body such as food.

I have already submitted a similar question about protocol plateau to the scholars ask section and did not find the advice to jumpstart further weight loss. I am interested to know your thoughts.

Thank you for all that you do!
