What is the difference between milk and cream for raising blood sugar and does the amount (as in a cup of milk for a latte vs. a tablespoon of milk or cream in coffee) make a big difference in blood sugar levels and insulin response?
I make a latte using 2% milk every morning and my first meal of the day is around 11:30am. I’m re-evaluating the latte for weight loss.
Also, I would love to hear Brooke explain what is happening in our bodies with regards to blood sugar and insulin, when it comes to eating “fatty”/allowed foods such as milk, cheese, avocado, butter, etc. and fruit.
