Specifically when to eat

I’ve been eating in a 12 – 7 window and planning my food, and also planning the time I will be eating. It seems to be working well, but I wonder if it’s necessary to be so specific about what time to eat…like, is it ok to just list out what I’m going to eat within the window, without specifying a time for each meal or non-caloric drink?

I’m thinking it’s ok to be a little more strict (or intentional might be a better word) in the beginning, if it’s working for me right now, and then as I get more comfortable with my way of eating, I can loosen up. Thoughts?
